01About

Seven years on backend systems — APIs, microservices, and cloud infra mostly on Azure. I’m comfortable in the ugly bits where things actually break: sync drift, retry storms, cache invalidation, the lot.

Currently a Senior Technical Lead at Infinitas Learning shipping Node/TypeScript services for enterprise clients. Lately I’ve been leaning on AI tools — Cursor, Claude, local models like DeepSeek-R1 — to chew through boilerplate so I can spend longer on the parts that matter.

Four years before that I was a QA engineer at Visma Labs who kept getting pulled into DevOps. That’s where I learned how production really fails. Off-hours I’m on a bike along the río, or fixing whatever’s broken on the server under my desk — his name is Rosa, and he’s very patient.

What the work produced.

2.5👥M

Users served at scale

Educational platform delivering content to 2.5 million users worldwide. Processing 50M+ requests daily with 99.8% uptime across 5 microservices at Infinitas Learning.

380+

PRs merged (2020-2025)

Five years of platform modernization. Delivered 380+ pull requests, 85 issues closed, and 580 commits driving continuous improvement and architectural evolution.

850

Deployments automated

Built 12 Azure release pipelines for 3 critical systems at Visma Labs. Eliminated manual deploy chaos and saved a thousand Friday-evening panics.

50↓%

GraphQL latency improvement

DataLoader batching on hot endpoints. Optimized retrieval times by half while maintaining platform reliability and scaling to millions of requests daily.

158+

Commits on personal website

Full-stack portfolio platform built in 2026. TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB. 34 features, 63 fixes, 52 tests delivered with production infrastructure on Cloudflare + Railway.

I started in QA, which is still the reason my code is hard to break.
